Test results
Zola called a few hours ago. They did the big test today, putting a tube into his chest to get a biopsy of the cells, etc.
I’m afraid it’s the bad kind of cancer. He said it’s not the small-cell version (which would be easier to treat) and has metastasized into his liver and brain. It seems to be aggressive and will require aggressive treatment.
He will have a treatment tomorrow using the gamma knife radiation to go after the spots they found in his brain. Then he will probably do some chemo this week, but that’s not really scheduled yet. The prognosis is probably less than a year.
He apologized for the bad news. His spirits are still high. He said he would approach this the same way he did his bypass surgeries.
I thank the Lord for hearing our prayers about this matter and for continuing to comfort Zola and his family.

We just found out while watching your show and then on your web site. We where shocked to say the least, but we know in our hearts that the lord is watching over you, Zola. We are praying for you without ceasing. We know the Lord’s will will be done. Whatever happens we will see you on the other side. We were going on a trip to the Holy Land, but money and the Lord had other ideas; we were called to be missionaries to the Native Americans in LaPlant, South Dakota. They are bunch of people that Satan has got a firm hold on, through alcohol and drugs; not just in SD but all over the U.S. We love you, Zola, and believe the Lord works through you. We know the end is near; both my wife and I have felt that for years. We feel like God has chosen us to see this, whether other people do or not. The things He is speaking to us is confirmed in your show and teaching, so I guess we are not nuts, just enlightened by the Lord. We are so thankful to know you; we do support your show and will continue to do so; we will if at all possible increase our giving; we are entirely supported like you by gifts from back home in Tennessee. May God give you strength and watch over you, which I know He will do.

Dear Zola,
We have watched your TV show and supported you financially the last few years. There is no other program or news letter that comes close to yours. You are such an inspiration and we have learned so much about Israel. As a result of your teaching, we have a greater love for Israel then we did before. We will be praying for you unceasingly.

Dear Brother in Christ, You have touched my heart in so many ways. I thank God, our Father, for you and for the peace He has given you. I too am so excited that our precious Lord and Savior is ready to come and get us!I watch every day eagerly. I can feel it so strongly, which I believe He lets those of us who ARE watching, feel. I,ve been reading the book called “HEAVEN” by Randy Alcorn and it is so wonderful! He writes all about our new HOME that is coming. If you or any one needs some comfort and peace, please read this book along with HIS book. GOD BLESS YOU ZOLA! My Sisterly love to you and Israel… Shalom…. Victoria from IL.

I just found out about Zola’s cancer on the last weekend of April. I did not know that Zola had gone home to be with y’shua. I can really relate to the terrible disease of cancer. My Mother just passed away from liver cancer on February 14,2006. I seen her suffer from the cancer and found her dead the morning of the 14. Her death broke my heart. But she to like Zola knew without a shadow of a doubt that she was going home to be with Y’shua. After all I had learned from watching Zola’s show that the name Y’shua in Hebrew means salvation. So when I think of this I know deep in my heart that Zola and my mom are in a much better place. As the apsotle Paul wrote,” The kingdom of God is not meat nor drink but righestnouse, peace and joy in the holy ghost.”

We have just returned from our mission work in Latin America and have heard about Zola’s promotion! He was such an important part of our spiritual growth, and he is the one that ignited our love for the Jews.
In September 1995 we toured with Zola through Greece, Turkey and Israel – and as everybody who has been with Zola proclaims . . . it was a life-changing experience. When Zola saw my tears at the Garden Tomb, he asked why I was so emotional . . . he said “You haven’t seen the Galilee yet!” That tour took place during the O J Simpson trial giving us a profound sense of priorities in life. We stood in front of the Knesset while the Oslo Peace Accord was being signed. And, shortly after we returned Rabin was assasinated in Israel.
Since that time we have continued climbing to higher ground, becoming “on-fire” evangelists and finally committing our lives to The Great Commission to “GO” to the ends of the earth with the Good News of the Kingdom.
Someday soon, we also hope to be “promoted” to the highest ground and have Zola greet us as we enter!!
Zola is a true servant of the living God and obediently completed all the assignments the Lord gave him on this earth, and is now reaping his rewards. “Well done, my good and faithful servant!”
With our utmost love and respect for this blessed saint!

Hello, I am reading notes here and realize I am saddened by Zola’s passing from this world we live in, but gladdened that he is now before his Father God and no longer in pain or concerned for this old world. How gracious God is! I knew of Zola’s illness but did not realize it would affect me this way. I feel like an old friend died. No, I was not a partner. No, I was not one who kept in contact. No, I never got to see Zola in the flesh. But, Zola has blessed me since I was a young married and at age 21 God opened my eyes to what He had been teaching me for many of my younger years. . . to love His people, the Jews. I was young, dumb and learning, but God graciously prepared me for that love. And in those early years, Zola is the first real Jew I knew. I read every one of his books that I could get my hands on. I got his newsletter. I learned a lot from him re: the Jews and this Jesus! What a joy. I still have those books. And at age 59, I still love the Jews, I love Israel, and I love my Jesus. God bless you all as you learn to live without him on this earth. And God bless you as you heal from his death. It looks like we will see him “in the air.”

Dear Levitt Family,
I’ve been wathcing the final shows that Zola filmed before going home. I can say with a grateful heart that his legacy in my life will be his unwavering faith in the face of a horrible disease and his firm conviction to “reamin at my post” until no longer possible. Because of this I’m reevaluating the firmness of my faith and if I’m at my post. Thank you Zola.
May God bless and comfort the Levitt faimily.
Robert
