Zola’s Surgery Went Well
Zola came through the surgery well. The operation was about 4 1/2 hours long, from 12:30 to 5 PM. He was still asleep at 10 PM but they expected him to be up shortly. He was moving around (but didn’t appear to be in pain). He should be moved from the ICU to a regular room tomorrow (Friday).
They took two veins from his chest and one small one from his leg to use for the bypasses. They also found and repaired a small hole in his heart. When he recovers, he should have lots of new energy!
Before the surgery, Zola was in good spirits, joking with the staff.

May I repeat, THANK YOU, LORD! This is the news we’ve yearned to read! Our prayers and love for Zola and family continue. We are so grateful! My mind has been filled with mental “clips” of Zola at special moments from his programs all day; it’s been a day of looking back, but believing we’d have to opportunity to look forward again, through Zola’s eyes.

So glad you made it~~~our gain! I think it’s love for people that we even want to stay here, well, we love you too. Do I see Zola and the apostle Paul arm and arm singing Philippians 1:19-26, music by Zola, lyrics by Paul? Hey, that’s not a suggestion, just a silly dream (but a good one). Thank-you and Be Blessed! Todah Raba Lord!!! It’s 4:50am here and I jumped out of bed to see how well you did. I am soooooo happy. In a world gone mad we need to hang on to all the blessings we can and you are absolutely a blessing from God. Last year I was laid up at home for three months with fracture injuries and everyone at work felt sorry for me. But the truth is, I had the time of my life, I had all that time to spend in the Word! It was better than a vacation. You and Yeshua are going to have a blast while you are off recuperating and Holy Spirit is going to shower you with all kinds of wonderful revelation. Enjoy your recovery and I am still praying for you.
Shalom.

Zola and Sandra:
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!! What wonderful news. Our prayers have been heard on High!! I’ve been checking the website every hour or two and this morning was so delighted to hear (read) that the surgery went well! Praise God! 7How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
8Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
9Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
Isaiah 52:7-9

Dear Sandra & family. We are thankful for Zola & the team behind his ministry. And so thankful he got through the surgery. I have worked in hospital ICU’s for over 27 years as a Respiratory Therapist. Tell him for me to obey the therapists & nurses to DEEP BREATH AND COUGH! The greatest risk now after surgery is pneumonia. So, we will continue to keep praying that the HEART & LUNGS recover quickly. And pray for the peace of Jerusalem! Lots of Love, Maggie & Mike Kelley
